Westport Harbour: cold, clear lake and blue sky

Sunday drive - Nov. 8th
Westport is one of our favourite towns. I love the view, with the trees down, as you drive down the hill. There was a delightful family picnicking on the little island in the harbour. The boats are all gone. The docks pulled up for winter. No fish or birds.

This was a wonderful Hallowe'en sculpture! I had hubby come back around for a good photo!

What a super place to visit, lovely water views, a bridge, lovely picnic area, and dudes on quads going hunting, I wonder how far they actually walk or tramp?

Westport certainly is a scenic little town. Thanks for showing it to us.

G'day Jenn, from the Great Down Underparts! Have a while this morning to try catch up on blogpals... needles to say the different time zone and management of minutes is somewhat altered and keeping up is going to be a challenge. Already had several meals and functions (including a funeral) under my waistband - but today I hope to stop and enjoy the view - both here and with you!!! These shots are lovely; there is something soothing about the close down of the year I always feel... though maybe not with hunters around! Hope you are going well. Huggies, YAM xx
