BTW
We had -17 a day ago, and today we expect to hit 11+ C., but it is still winter.

From The Long John Index
By the way, a special MITTEN HIGH FIVE to everyone in Alert, Top of Canada. They woke up to -37 C and a -50 C Windchill this morning.

Hi Jenn
It's -4 here, but -10 with the wind chill. The forecast is for +18 on Friday. I seriously doubt if it will reach that, but it just goes to show, along with your weather, what a weird winter it's been this year.
Beautiful blue skies here in the neighbourhood and we're going out to order the new kitchen cabinets today! Going to be a nightmare around here for a while before it gets to be wonderful. LOL

Beautiful Jenn. I have never seen the Northern Lights until now! Thanks for posting this. We hear about them being partially visible at times, but usually when we are fast asleep. I think you need a very unlit spot to view them, is this correct? I love you robin. gin

Many years ago, when I was a child, we saw the northern lights - my dad woke us up and took us outside to see them. I have never forgotten that!

Very beautiful. Believe it or not, my husband and I saw a similar show over Markham, Ontario in 1n 1982. I haven't seen one here since, though.

There might be a show tonight...but I can't see through clouds.

How lovely -- have never seen them. Because of the disturbance that is happening ntoday they are supposed to be visible further south tonight. If we were in Oregon we might get a glimpse of them. (But not here for sure ;>)
