Saturday's Critters

Skunk

Somedays it is a day-behind post! I wrote about putting my bullfrog back in the frogpond. I think that's where he came from in the summer when the vernal pond dried up. Here he is plopping into the water. bullfrog from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

Then, there are the deer, chewing their cud in the backyard! Resting doe from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

This is why they are called white-tailed deer!

The doe doesn't hesitate to whack at her male yearling. This one always seems to want what Momma is having.

The coyote in the backyard isn't interested in the pumpkins!

Momma Butch is still about. This trailcam is on its last legs. (Who am I to judge!) My birthday is coming and I've ordered another. Yippee!

Hello,

I like the video of you talking to the bullfrog. Very cute! The deer are wonderful, always great to see. I would not want that coyote hanging around. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thanks for leaving me a comment.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful mix of critters.

All we've had in our garden are a couple of squirrels and some birds!
Still enjoyed seeing them though.

Have a happy weekend.

All the best Jan

Great captures Jenn! Love the skunk. We have to get our trail cams up and going again. Now that the hunting season is done here, you can hear a pin drop, all of the weekenders are gone for the winter, we're hoping some wildlife will come back now.

I really like the deer in snow one. The white tails really fluff their tails up in the winter. Used to see a lot of white tails when growing up in the state of Nevada.
