What a lovely weekend!

Sunday was a day to garden, and catch up. Monday we had 20 mm rain, so it was a good thing.
I am nursing my bug bites. The blackflies and mosquitoes are horrid.

I'm glad I got the fountain going again. We had a sparrow and a robin bathing, while JB and I read on the back deck.

We had a turkey cleaning up the bugs for us. She had another dust bath in the back of the yard.
Annabelle didn't even bother with her.

I need a new laundry tree. I had to duct tape it. The hummingbird was fine, though!

Hubby went for a walk in the morning, as he does most mornings. It's a pretty town.
This is what he saw in Perth!

The courthouse.

Dinner was turkey skewers on the barbie, with salads!

Insect bites are indeed horrid; vinegar takes good care of that, both preventive and soothing.

Gorgeous city scenes. Wonderful walk. Wishing I had a fountain in MY yard. That turkey eating the bugs didn't make it to the BBQ, did it?

Annabelle is wise enough to know that is too big a bird to go after.

Jenn - any day that involves work in the garden makes for a lovely day. Sorry to hear about the mosquitoes and black flies. Here they can be bad in the woods, but they generally do not come into open areas. We have also noticed that they don't welt up and itch like the bites back East. Is Perth always that quiet, or does your Hubby have a talent for taking pix without people in them? Looks like a lovely town.

Wooden clothes pegs? I thought they were all finished. Lovely stroll along the streets and through your lawns.
