Art In The Garden

It's a delightful celebration of art. There were quite a few new artists there, as well as the golden oldies. As always, they put a great deal into the organization of the weekend. They've been doing this festival for 23 years.

CRÉATIONS D'OCTOBRE

RAYMOND WARREN

I love these little guys!

Chaka Chikodzi

This man has been showing these beautiful pieces for a few years. It's amazing work. Above our price point, but amazing to look at. He's from Zimbabwe, now located in Kingston.

Everywhere you go...

This is just amazing!

I liked these pieces. This artisan came from New Brunswick. He plans on driving to Toronto to install a piece.

FOREST BOXES

This art, bird boxes made with driftwood. Very creative. Deni Forest puts copper around the nest hole to prevent squirrel damage. He's from Quebec.

There are lots of metal workers.

RILEY GARNER DESIGN

STICKS AND STONES

Oh, Scott Dobson! He bought this piece from a woman who was downsizing her home. She'd bought it from a neighbour. We know Scott for his fences, but he branches out into art and statement pieces. It must be 12' tall!

Scott hs done a lot of work for us. He's a good man.

LIVING STONES

Lots of fountains, and stonework by John Schweighardt.

RUE ROYALE

Creative stone work!

CARMICHAEL WOODWORKS CHAINSAW CARVING

Then, a man in a kilt! My favourite creature, a blue heron. It was well above our budget, but well-worth celebrating.

Kiwi gardens is known for its succulents, as well as other beautiful plants, like GIANT hostas!

FALARDEAU

This piece spoke to JB. It'll be an anniversary present for him, a copper tree, with a man climbing the piece of wood.

This jerk parked almost in front of us. I had to guide JB out of the space to turn around to get by them. sigh. From here, we went to Westport to see some water, and have lunch. More on that later.

Kiwi Gardens. I had an invitation to go here with another photographer but couldn't make it. Someday ... but without the art, I guess.
