Saturday's critters

We bought this window feeder for my client. The birds have found it. It makes her happy! She has 3 chickadees, as well, which refuse to visit when I am there.

Saturday's Critters #287

The milkweed are coming along, soon they will bloom.

The season is slow, the catalpa is barely showing leaves.

The clover is filling in the bare spots.

I moved the half-barrel to the back yard. The pumpkins, squash and zucchini are coming along.

Planters are beginning to overflow!

Here is the danged 'non-tangling' hose. sigh.

Guinivere is sitting amongst the fireweed.

She used to sit amongst the lilies in Muskoka. She's pretty settled here in Lanark County (since 2010)!

Meanwhile in the goldfish pond...

The old phoebe nest.

The petunias love our cool June weather. We've had 60mm so far.

Down in the forest, things are buzzing.

I spray this hoodie with bug spray. I guess it doesn't help that there is a hole in it.

Hi Jenn :) Firstly I love those trailcam videos! You have such nice wildlife where you live! I always think raccoons walk around so funny, kind of like hunched-over cats! Ha ha ha...non-tangling indeed, my gosh. Your petunias are beautiful! I have my begonias and geraniums indoors now because it's too dang cold again! Guinivere is stunning! I love her!!! The photo you have of the forest, that fallen tree looks like a creature with large arms walking through the trees! :)

The window feeders are so much fun to watch! How nice for someone that has to stay inside to have birds so close to enjoy!

We have one of those hoses, maybe the same one, and it drives us crazy. After too many years, we have finally replaced it with a new one from Amazon . . . and China. It took a month to get, but it's a treat.
