Winter scenes

It's a cold month. It's not for chumps. You just have to dress for it.

The pickle stabbers are doing well. There are two of them, the same age, hanging out together.

I think this is Maggie, just prior to our going outside.

Our medium-sized buck. The big buck is seriously gone.

I ordered my Christmas present... and it arrived. A new trailcam, but much better quality.
Two things to remember: change the temperature to C., and make it face south, as the sun triggered it in other videos! The first coyote seems wounded. Poor thing.

Last week we had a bit of a moment. A deer was killed on the road.  I assured hubby the one on the road wasn't Maggie. I was right! Sunday, hubby is happy that he spotted his Maggie, with the dislocated knee.

Daisy almost came for a walk with me. She watched me.

It is a great privilege to be able to see these deer with such regularity. I am sure that many of us envy you the pleasure.

It must be very cold even for the animals to come out looking for food. Daisy looks warm and comfortable with her thick fur coat. Keep warm and have a wonderful week.

Brrrr---18C is very cold yipes. We have a game cam too. We got it when we found dead chickens and some missing---raccoons the culprits and now we have beavers damming up the creek at the back of our property. Bust as a beaver as the saying goes, Fun to find out what goes on in the night around here.

Awwww, must admit, I favor Daisy!!!

We have had a lot of deer and one lone coyote when I've been out and about too.

What wonderful captures of the deer with your trailcam. It must be exciting when you go get it and then see what it has captured.

Fun to see what was in your yard, neat toy having a new cam. I have a portable blind but it is tough in the cold. One of the few ways to get good eagle shots

Daisy's not a fan of the cold!

This is making me think of Santa’s sleigh! But sounds like there’s serious hardships for these animals. Traffic and nature are not a good mix.
