Trailcam tales: raccoon, weasel, Hooper

I'm still wrestling with the trailcam. Hooper gives me good practice.
Foggy day.

Then, the snow fell!

Not daunting for the young bucks, they played in the snowy meadow.

With the warmer temperatures, Butch raccoon has been around. Two, in fact. This is the best video of the weasel, so far. It could be a pine marten, too. I'm not sure!

It got stuck, but figured it out!

I find it surprising that the light didn't faze the weasel.

And good for the squirrel.

Cute video of you encouraging the temporarily trapped red squirrel. Jennifer, could your weasel possibly be a Martin? My trail cam, which I have set up in my garage, shows three young skunks and their mom on a nightly inspection of the community dish. Oh, and a happy Christmas to you and your clan. I've enjoyed your postings and hope you keep 'em coming!

It's interesting to see the way the weasel or martin moves about.

Merry Christmas to you.
