On Common Ground Studio Tour in Mountain

Sumac is at its peak!
Our maple looks lovely!

We had a lovely day. I snapped a photo of our maple before we left.

We began at site #9 and worked our way backwards! The leaves were nearly done, tall stalks of cow corn wafting in the breeze. The storm was on its way (see my pre vious post!), but didn't roll in until the end of the day!

This is where my husband grew up, SE Ontario, and it was fun visiting this rural town area.

Lovely driving along country roads!

Stop #6

Pottery in progress

Stop #5

Just a random home - very nice!

The library firebush! Stop #4

A treat to peek into artisan's backyards!

Stop #2

We bought a lovely piece from

The golf course display–stop #1

Now I know what sumac looks like. I've heard about it for a long time. We've been up at the cabin a lot this month with no Internet. Trying to get caught up a bit. Thanks for all the comments. - Margy

Your area has many opportunities to just go out and see handicrafts. We tend to have a show but not shops to stop in.

The colors in the Midwest are just starting and not as striking as they were last year. Looks like it's beautiful up north.
