Muskoka Construction- rain, snow, sleet, hail

In My World...MWT White
It just keeps on keeping on. Through fall, rain, snow, sleet, hail~

Then the snow really flew, as well as those roofing nails. We walked by this house for a month, impressed with these men working up high, bashing in nails, the radio merrily blaring!

Gotta be fun up there doing roofing at -15 C.!
This was last week.

This week's warmer temperatures must have made it more comfortable!

I can't wait to see what the house will look like. It's not ours, but it is intriguing following the progress!

Is that your new house Jill?? WOW!! Looks like a beauty! Loved your post yesterday....very important and so true! Funny...or sad really, how some people just can not find it in them to give a compliment!?! I have a close friend who hardly ever gives me a compliment when I share my good news with her?? So, I have just stopped doing so.
Have a fantastic day!

I agree with you - I love to follow the progress of such building work - both on TV and in the real life. But "your" project looks very spectacular. I hope you will show us the final result!

It is interesting to watch the progress of a new home taking shape. Must say, when living in Toronto, I was always so impressed with the brave men and women who work outside in the Canuck winter!

It does look cold! I can't imagine working on a roof in those temps!! Good for them! It does look sooooo cold! Love your header pic! Beautiful blue jays! Hope you have a good week and stay warm!!

It must be hard working around and during the weather with so much precipitation of varying kinds. Interesting to follow the progress.

Sometimes they seem to throw a house up and sometimes it seems to take forever. This one looks like a full time residence?

It looks like a big house, I'd be interested in the interiors.

These folks sure are so hardworking. the house should be pretty when its done.

You have tough construction workers up there. I guess they have to be go get things done.

I love your new header.

I think they're tough because they LIKE working outdoors, and like what they do. We are short of skilled people, Yogi. Of course,

Right now, the inside is just 2 x 4's, Ebie! But it looks like a nice view of the river. I hesitate to trespass and go closer. I'm pretty shy!

I don't know if it is full-time, L & D, there are a lot of folks that come up from the city for the w/e, the neighbours don't appear to be there full-time. We have a lot of seasonal residents, and snowbirds who have flown!
