More chores, checked off the list!

It was lady beetle season. I pulled out the BBQ to season it for the season, and found some lady beetle seeking winter shelter. What a surprise!

🐸 Moving the Frogs

The goldfish pond is done. There could be 4 or 5 in there, but they are on their own. We'll cross our fingers. My grand total is 137. They are now down in the muck, snoring, I hope.

Indoors, Percy is happily wagging his tail hoping for food. Also on Sunday, I cleaned out his tank. He seemed grateful!

There were two deer out front. They are well camouflaged.
Cinnamon watched them.

🍂 Fall Chores

I had fun cleaning the eaves on the front of the house. The catalpa dropped its leaves on Tuesday after our hard frost. It was cold, and there was ice. I chucked it all overboard.

Atop the ladder, I could see the deer on the hill.

As I was up there, I noticed the Hydro meter coming away from the wall. I bet that isn't a good thing. I phoned, they promised to send someone. On the phone, he explained that the box is our responsibility, but maybe they could fix it. That would involve an electrician, he thought.

About an hour later, two Hydro dudes turned up, opened it up, and reattached it securely. I was relieved.

Ah indoor Percy, for the winter. Having no places to hide, I hope all other little friends don't end up his dinner. Glad to see the hydro box fixed so promptly. Pats to Cinnamon. I always laugh when you mention him, because that's also the name of my ex-daughter-in-law!

We have been seeing more ladybugs too. I like Percy the fish, cute!
Take care, have a great day!

Percy looks perky, all sheltered inside. I'm glad the meter was an easy fix.

You've been productive! That's a lot of fish. Percy is looking good and I had to look to find those deer!

As always I am impressed at your achievements - and glad that the box was reattached.

There seems to be ladybugs everywhere this fall. A friend has been vacuuming them out of her windows a couple of times a day.
Nice of the hydro guys to fix that for you.

Hi again. I just found the logo for Our World Tuesday, which apparently stopped posting in 2020. I was looking for anyone who knew if it would start again, and there was your name also. So I at least know you, and thus hope you can let me know about it. This is because I am using the logo as my FB profile photo for now...love it! If it's copyrighted, let me know please!

What an amazing number of lady bugs. I have only seen two all summer. Percy is adorable. It's always good to have a clean tank. Nice you got the hydro box secured so quickly.

It seems like fall chores never end until snow and winter come.

Hello, Barb! Yes, I began to curate Our World Tuesday or Show Your World, but it was a learning curve. Lady Fi was the last to do it. There was a cost involved, somehow.

I just didn't have the mental health to take the negativity when trying to post it on time. I tried to get them to change the posting time, as it was Monday afternoon, and I was usually not indoors when it went live. People got angry, and I gave up.

You wonder what Cinnamon thinks of deer.
