The geese! There were hundreds of them.
None of them were in the rapids! It looked so pretty driving by.
We startled these two.
My drive-by shooting, with the camera strap flying in the wind...
They can be a pain, but it is a sure sign of spring. Soon there will be more! We used to have Eddie and Eva visit us!

Yes geese are everywhere, we stay away from them especially if they are nesting.
A family Sunday Stroll, all together, love those babies.And the Honking, that was so good to listen to. XXX p.s. Wintermode down here, somewhere had 1C overnight, not us but probably about 5c where we are!!!
There were a couple of pairs here a week ago but they seem to have moved along to better nesting places.
I saw my first Canada geese back for the season a few days ago on Victoria Island, though they would be ones migrating to points further north. Terrific shots!
Whatever signals the approach of Spring is welcome. The geese are a beautiful sight!
Fortunately I live a long way from water so don't have to worry about geese.
