UPDATE: April 20th the bear was trapped.
People have reported two bears in the area around Otty Lake, near us. Time to bring in the feeders <= video on FB.Here's MNR with young Mr Bear - they say he could possibly be back in a couple of weeks to a month - if so, that's a sad end for him. They said they would not normally trap a bear, but when he starts coming up on porches ( he was on our back deck twice that we saw- about 5 ft from us watching TV) and then in the summer with screen doors, they will start coming into houses. I hope he is happy in his new home on crown land near Arnprior.

He bent the feeder right over!
Ministry of Natural Resources have a bear trap set up at the far end of Clifford Cr for this bear. It will be here until he is trapped and they will relocate him. There are two bears active in the neighbourhood - an older female and a yearling with a blonde backside. This looks like the older female.

Hopefully it works and they don't have to resort to other measures.
