I remember a similar event from 1967. I saw them in Saskatoon Saskatchewan on the South Saskatchewan River.

Excellent videos!Those locks can really make the canoes look small. I saw a canoe come through the Hogs Back locks on Sunday, and practically vanished out of sight.
