June 7th, after checking out hubby's family gravestones, we drove down to the water.
There is something about water. First we drove by RMC.
On the way in we spotted these swans. On the way back, we saw them again. Hubby offered to turn around, but by they time I got back, walking along the highway, they were in the marshes! This is a drive-by shooting, through hubby's window as we were leaving!
The water was still really high after spring melt and rains.

A whole family of swans, it seems. It doesn't surprise me that the water levels are still like that. Not good for the trees that have been submerged in their roots for a month.
The calm water, a camping ground, swans and an Inukshuk, lovely, every one. Window photography is not easy, and sometimes there is not anywhere to stop. You did VERY well to get those pics.
Jenn, são lindos os cisnes. E as imagens também são muito bonitas. São paisagens diferentes para o habitual, no Brasil. Eu gosto.
Um beijo querida e bom domingo.
That's a lot of water! And beautiful swans. The blue sky shows some promise of drying out...I hope.
Water has an attraction for us and the birds.
Is that barn on 15? If so, I think we saw it yesterday. We also saw a swan on our travels.
