What a week of weather!

Geraldine was awake Monday
Asleep on Tuesday!
Monday, it was 26 C. in our yard. Geraldine bullfrog had woken up.
Tuesday it was ice pellets. Geraldine has gone back to bed.
The crocus were being hammered with the ice, which was bouncing on the deck yesterday. We took a drive on Sunday. It was cloudy. I spotted a pair of mergansers in the river. I hope they stay warm today, as it is -5C. and pretty frigid. The crocus have bent over in pain.
How many bird butts have you photographed?
I have my fair share!

It ha turned cold here, too. At least we didn't have snow. I cannot count the number of times I have been mooned by critters. It's a rare thing to get a face. :)

This teasing has got to stop!
I think I have a ratio of 3:1 for duck bills to butts.

some really great images. spring is definitely trying to rear her beautiful head... but not before we endure a few more cold snaps. we actually had snow, rain and sun yesterday... today it's beautiful outside but cold. hope all is well. have a great day~

I do NOT blame Geraldine for pulling the covers (so to speak) over her head and going back to sleep. I think I would too.

Yup, I have taken a sad number of bird butt-shots! At least yours is flying...that's a pretty good excuse.

You have had considerably warmer weather than we're getting here. Our high spot was 17C. Nothing is growing. The ground isn't even showing up in most spots yet. And our lake is still solid.

As for bird butts.. not too many of those but I have taken many dozens of photos of where a bird has been but no longer is. ;)

Yup - plenty butts on file! Stay tucked up Geraldine. It's no better this side of the big pond I'm afraid. YAM xx

Great shifts in temperature make it hard for plants to survive.

It's just been one weird weather event after another.

Okay, Jenn's troops, here's the plan—a bird butt book. Let's gather them all up and self-publish them. Everybody's doin' it...why not the Bird Butt Book from Canada and abroad.
Think about it.
Luv, K
PS: Hi, Geraldine, I know you're a pretty patient sort.
