Now I lay me down to sleep
My frozen head just wants to sleep
Snow has fallen, I am freezing
Up above the birds are sneezing
If I should die before I wake
Remember me at dawn's day break
Sun's rays peer between the canopy
Shedding light on missing panoply
If I should live another day
My violet colours will cheer your day
Under snow my buddy snuggs
Flicker desperately seeking bugs
My fervent wish for you always
Spring return now; straightaways.
Phoebe seeks nesting location
Lordy, it's time for procreation.

Jen, this is in reference to a post you put on my blog about your knitting woes. Do you know there is a really nice fabric and yarn shop in Perth called "Perth Fabrics"? If it is close enough, they might be able to get you some help with your difficulties.
Yes! There are several in the area. I just don't know where I put my new needles!!!
I'm working on finishing my crosspoint first. Then I might have to spring for some new needles...
Where I bought them, they offered to help.
Thanks for the information!
Good verse and lovely shots of spring beginning.
A fun poem, and I always enjoy your photos, Jenn. The Flicker is lovely, but I searched and searched but couldn't find the Phoebe. Only the poor crocus bowed down by snow.
Sigh.
Oh, and almost forgot: I love Frosty's Easter outfit, especially the glasses.
Hugs,
K
Creative poetry, Jennifer!

Well done it took a few lines for me to realise 'who' was lamenting! Loved the snake - it reminded me of the Aussie Grass Snake, so guessing it is a variation on the theme. They are cute little fellas in their own way... Our Good Friday has dawned in the perfect cloudless, temperate spring day, Blessings indeed! YAM xx
