OK, I thought, my face is on, I'm dressed, let's go out for lunch. I had heard that the Barley Mow pub in Almonte had a bit of a riptide going. I couldn't believe the power of the water. It was right up over the patio the day before.

These people in the condos have put sand bags out. You can see where the water was up onto the walkway. |

Wow, this is scary -- I looked at the previous post too.... had not realized what was happening up there.
Spring is a very powerful time when it comes to water. I was predicting a photo of you having lunch on the patio!!!
The comparison shots just reinforce how high that water really is. Wow!
This is all so scary.
How fun that you got to do something different on Earth Day!
Wow!! I first saw that stretch of water last fall, and to see it again now! What a difference!
Some serious water power there Jennifer, but it looks nice and cosy in the eaterie.
