Canadian Raptor Conservancy

We went to the Garlic Festival today.
What a bonus watching the raptors.
A marvellous organization, promoting the education of these birds. Canadian Raptor Conservancy.
Their latest lobby effort is to make the Red-tailed Hawk our National Bird.
I love it! We have many around here. I love hearing them.

Looks like a fun festival and seeing the raptors would make my day. Wonderful photos.

We have the Medicine River wildlife Rehabilitation center here. they use injured birds which cannot be returned to the wild for education purposes. It's really neat just like the photos you show.

Sounds like a perfect day to me -- garlic festival and wonderful marvelous raptors. I vote for the red-tailed as your National Bird, (as if anyone would care about my vote!) (do you have a Nat'l Bird now?)(I'll google it!)
