Buster and his dear friends, cheeky devil

He looks brown in the sunshine!
I have to laugh at this little guy. This month is only his 1st birthday. He has inner bigness, though.

He and Felix fling themselves at the trees. Good exercise, as they go up and up.

They look around at me, as if to say, "Aren't you proud of me!"

And, yes, he gets down himself.

Someone feline has been eating deer food. Properly prepared by our local Dodds and Erwin feed store (there are a lot of hunters around here who seed their tree stands, large market for it), it is an official MNR recipe.

That said, a certain cat has been eating it and throwing it up indoors! Lately, the cats have been catching a mouse a day, now that they are more visible since the snow has gone.
In the meantime, there is action at the feeder!

You go first. No, you!
See Buster under the feeder?!

They hide behind the leader!

Peeking around her behind!

Very close...

And closer!

I cannot believe how a cat can scare the deer! Just leaps up and around. Cheeky in 19 seconds!

I am surprised that the deer fled when the cat moved! They already knew he was there, and hunting season was months ago...
But it is still a hoot, watching!!

You deer make friends with the kitty! Fun. Beautiful all of them. I don't need a trough...they like my flowers just fine! I want to plant a rose tree but will have to use deer off which is not so nice.

You live in a beautiful spot. I am so glad you found me and I can share this with you. Gets pretty quiet some afternoons while Bill is sleeping but needs me here. Enjoy the weekend. Happy St. Paddy's day!

You have a watch-cat! Taking care of you and keeping away all those scary deer (how funny that they are scared, poor timid things!)

Oh my gosh, that video made me & my daughter laugh out loud, literally! We needed that laugh today, too, so thank you!

And thank you, too, for including Landon in your prayers, very much appreciated! =)

Oh, what a wonderful video, Jenn. Imagine little Buster scaring those deer. I love it.
Hard to believe the kittens are a year old this month. Seems like yesterday.

This is just so cute. I can just imagine how puffed up with pride Buster was.
