Location snowfall amount

Muskoka 67 cm squalls

Bala 75 cm (EST'd)
Bracebridge 60-100 cm (EST'd)
Coe hill (S Bancroft) 43 cm
Huntsville 50 cm (EST'd)
Haliburton 66 cm

Washago 45 cm (EST'd)

Notice how Bancroft, to the east has only 15 cm,
yet Coe Hill has 38 cm.
For my US friends, 100 cm = 1 Metre = about 1 yard (39")!
This swath of snowfall was 19km from north to south.
We were happy to see our snowplow contractor this morning.

He lives in MacTier, with waist-deep snow, which is much more snow that we had!

That's a lot of snow! We are supposed to get some this week, but it is only going to be enough to make the roads crazy. - Margy

Jenn: That is so beautiful on a sunny day but it is sure a lot this early in the season. Keep warm and stay safe on the roads.

Wow! And the lake hasn't even frozen yet! I think it will be an early time to shovel the cottage roof!

I drove from Georgetown to Port Sandfield Thursday night...somehow! I still am not plowed out. My contractor does not have the equipment for snow more than 5 inches. I hunkered in and my husband came up and rescued me on snowshoes! We had at least 31 inches of snow!
