Saturday's Critters

I love the critters! Washing the kitchen window made things clearer. We've a doe and twins hanging about.

I should have rewashed the front window. With the sun so low in the sky, I can see the streaks I left! It was 9 C. yesterday, too. This morning it was -1 C., and it is supposed to go to 3. I might have a chance. Thing is, the man is coming to install our new bathroom vanity, postponed from Wednesday as he was ill. We shall see.

The King is back. He's not the largest buck we've seen around here, they seem to be disappearing, but he's our largest.

If you watch this, you'll see we've two cardinals. Our cardinal likes to fight with his image on the window. He finally found a real foe. This is great, but I hope they both turn up for the Great Christmas Bird Count!

Deer are most active between dawn and dusk. For the most part.

I miss the snow!

...my grandmother always said that the windows were the lights of the home.

The snow is lovely to look at but the creatures are probably glad to be able to forage without it.

Still no snow here, no sunrise lol but rain. We're supposed to get average temps and clear skies leading up to Christmas

Beautiful snow while it lasted. Loved watching all the videos, and the three photos are nice. To watch deer through your window sounds so magical. I'm wishing you a beautiful and happy holiday season with lots of love. Take care.
