Monday into town

They are still working on the senior's home! I've been taking photos. I like watching a build.

The DAROU Farmhouse is being taken down for rebuild elsewhere. Again, I've been taking photos!

We had a purpose... I wanted to get a flu shot.
After my flu shot at the drug store

– we went to the cafe to pick up some lunch. We brought it home and had it in the peace and quiet. I had a beef bowl, hubby had pea soup, with his regular wraps at home. They have two salads, cauliflower and spinach. The bowls are my favourite. Hubby often brings me home a bowl for lunch. While he waits, he has a cappuccino.

Their map dates to 1950!

My new arrangement at the road.

Before the snow, and after!

Winter, bring it on!

Yup, it's a-coming'... wee Jock and myself are having a pyjama day, it's so miserable outside. I did try to take him for a wander at midday in case of boredom. I got the look which suggested I may have grown horns and lost my brain!!! YAM XX

I always like food pictures; there's so much colour in them and it is eye pleasing. And, I must add , I'm past the stage of getting tempted. There comes a time when one must have the awareness of what, when and how to eat. Nutrition is the key to life and death.

The beef bowl looks good. I'm thinking the snow might stick around awhile, given the temperatures.

I missed the bells on Remembrance Day from the Peace Tower- I stopped at home to charge my camera for a few minutes after visiting the War Museum before going back out to the Memorial past sundown. I must have missed them by minutes.

So you were cooking at the cafe again? We went to the Casino for lunch today as it's 2 for 1 today.
