Gramma Camp 3.0!

Our fun news is that we're having Gramma Camp this weekend.  Yes, our last Gramma Camp was at the end of August. Gramma Camp 2.3. Here we are, again, delighted to take them in, and have some fun. "The kids" are off for a weekend in Toronto.

Thursday, Nov. 22, 4:45 p.m.

We drove through Perth, on our way to Carleton Place. It gets dark so early. It was a wonderful opportunity to see the lights. So many cultures have some variation of a festival of lights. I truly embraced it when I was teaching my multicultural classroom of precious kiddies.

These photos aren't too bad, considering I took them through the car window, with a camera that needs cleaning!!!

Perth has installed state-of-the-art new crossing lights. This woman hobbled across the road in the dark. Thankfully, hubby slowed seeing her.

5:30 p.m. hostage exchange

It was a beautiful moon, and there were lots of Christmas lights up. I couldn't do the moon justice, but you get the drift. The girls played a game on the way home, looking for lights.

We had veggies, as a snack in the car. It was getting near to dinner. Nuts, and then leftover chili.

Bedtime followed not too long after. We did some reading, and we were asleep not too long after the girls!!!

Night shots can be very appealing as was your first of Perth. Enjoy the weekend.

November seems to be very dark...darker than any time. Have a good time with the grand kids.

Snowy fields and the moon are a good combination.
