Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere.
They up their road checks in December, holiday season. These are my photos from Dec. 2012.
It never fails.
Not only was he approaching a RIDE checkpoint in someone else's truck, but he failed to stop in time, and hit the car in front of him. Then, let's add to the stupidity.
- He stole the car. It wasn't his.
- He had alcohol in the car.
- He was in possession of cocaine.
- He was driving whilst under suspension.

Ya gotta love stupid. It's the dangerous part that leaves me nervous.
OOPS! Some drivers are not very smart, are they?
This just makes me so angry! We have the same sort of problems in Hawaii, of course.
What makes me really angry is that law enforcement is just about absent. When people are caught they don't have to pay up. We have well over 100 million in outstanding traffic fines in Alberta. Take the license away and they still drive. They won't get caught. There has to be a much higher chance of being caught and dealt with.
