You'll forgive a silly post. But we need a bit of silly in our lives.
I noticed there was a clump of grass on the road shoulder. I was curious...
I kept forgetting to check it out, passing it twice.
At first, I thought a turtle, but the drag marks were obvious when I got closer. It was located near a bend in the road. I think someone was going too fast! July 10 or 11th. The peculiar thing is the clump of dirt was removed sometime after.
Sure enough, someone had gone down into the swamp below. They'd had to have been dragged out by a tow truck. Wish I'd seen it! It's a bit of a steep, slippery slope down! Must have been a mucky, smelly climb out, and a wait for a tow truck with the bugs swarming. Believe me, I know. I live in the middle of a wetland.

I would not want to see someone driving off the road, I hope they were ok. Peeps should slow down! Enjoy your day!
These accidents happen so fast, yesterday afternoon I walked by myself to visit Hugh. a HUGE bang, one car tailgated into another. So they both stopped in the centre of the road, double lanes, so other cars skirted round. I am finding the city so busy and noisy.
Just think how much you learned by being curious.
Definitely not a fun experience for them!

I often see 'things' by the roadside. I generally don't have the urge to stop, though. Perhaps am missing out?.... nah... YAM xx
Not too silly at all my dear! You checked; what if somebody had still been down there? Sends shivers down my back. They were lucky if all they had to contend with was a smelly set of shoes and clothes after they climbed out. Slow down people!!!!!!
