Hubby went out to the store. When he returned they were eating out of the feeder. He chose to park in the driveway. You can see the car wheels peeking out behind the Christmas tree. The deer watched him, but basically ignored him. He's such a deer whisperer!
Poor hubby, had to park in the driveway. |
Deer & Beer Run from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.
Hubby went to the store for a beer run. When he arrived home the deer were in the side yard. They didn't budge. He decided to park in the driveway, rather than disturb them! In the final scene, Buster sat in the dark watching the action. All you can see are his eyes.
This morning, Daisy was watching the deer at the front yard feeder, while begging to come in. It's -10˚ C. outside! The doe was watching her, feeding a bit, then keeping a careful eye on her. She bears watching!

Cute shots of the deer and I like your pretty tree decorated the lights.. Happy Sunday!
They do add to the Christmas spirit!
Great photos and I loved the video. Buster in that last scene was so cute! Pretty tree all lit up like that. Deer didn't seem to mind your hubby, he IS the deer whisperer! :-)
It's fun to watch the cats watching wildlife. I like the chirping noise they make when they see the birds.
Their ears are always alert for sounds, and that comes across in the video.
I've found cats to be fascinated by them... and they must think, "now that's much too big for me to hunt."

How do you get anything done with all the things to watch and see around your place? - Margy
Your sweet husband is a deer... I mean a dear! Lovely post.
I got so excited.. thinking I'd see some interesting action. I misread "beer" as "bear." ;) But I sure did see a fine video. So sweet. Ours have returned too.. now that hunting season is done.
