"Fire in the hole!"

Ottawa Citizen Article
The biggest blast in Ottawa’s history was over in seconds on Sunday, reducing the 11-storey John Carling Building to 40,000 pounds of rubble by 420 kilograms of explosives. Fire in the hole. I look at this and wonder why it took so many months and longer and agonising decisions to demolish the tall buildings damaged in Christchurch in the February 2011 quake. When this has to be done, spectacular. What a sight to see, Cheers, Jean.

I should have gotten myself out of bed to watch it! I still can't believe I slept through it.
