🎓 In other news, Aster had her Gr. 8 graduation ceremony in Ottawa, and her report card is wonderful. There were about 150 kids graduating Bell Middle School! Afterward they had a BBQ. Onward to gr. 9! Jo is done gr. 11 exams. Our Vancouver grandies are off to the cottage, also done school for the year.
💰Do you remember we were scammed by some awful people? The Fraud department phoned, and we're getting our money back ($1550). We are so happy. All in all it's been a good week, despite trials and tribulations. Patience, I keep telling myself!
🐠 We had someone in to service our A/C. We moved my fish tank to the back deck. She's a plumber, an HVAC specialist. I really like her! A strong, personable woman. It's a miracle! We gave her $20.
I have a summer project. Scrape the insides, use rubbing alcohol to clean off the old caulk. I can test it here, to see if I did a good job.
I had to move the reblooming amaryllis.
I captured a moth and the moon in the same frame. It amuses me.

Hello,
I am sure the summer will be a fun time for your grandchildren.
It is good news about the bank fraud, your money was refunded.
Take care, have a great day!
Congrats on the returned money!
Keep on supporting your sickie fellow. So sorry he's going through all this. Glad to hear you got that fish tank moved where you can work on it. Oh, the amaryllis is a beauty. That garden feature will come together whenever... love to think of patience. What an attribute/quality to endeavor to increase in my life!
The bank news is so reassuring, the tank outdoors for testing is a good plan, then along comes JB with this, hope those pills are working well.
Congratulations on a successful resolution to your fraud trials and tribulations. And for your other happy happenings. It looks like y'all are doing well except for the Lyme issues. I hope that gets better quickly and clears up soon.
I am reminded that I was soaking myself every night this time last year. We discovered that I had prostatitis.
I am really pleased that you will get your scammed money returned, and hope JB starts to feel better.
Goodness you are busy - and gardens always need work. I think it is a rule.
Lots going on. Those gr 8's go all out for graduations.
I'm very sad to read that JB has Lyme Disease. My friend had a tick on her, for how long she doesn't know. Thankfully not a black legged tick but she has a staph infection from it. Such horrible little buggers. Your reblooming Amaryllis is goregous.
