I went down to trailcams, in the peace and quiet. Behind me – the frogpond, in front, the wetland slowly turning colours.

I'll show you the momma bear and 4 cubs. They came by, again. I wonder how they keep heading towards the neighbours, and I don't catch them coming back. They don't like to walk in the wetland, it appears. Perhaps they are going in circles!bear 4 cubs Sept. 14 from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.
I've since moved that camera, all I caught was Butch. Twice!Butch Sept. 16 from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.
This is what I think scared Cinnamon in the forest. A fisher. Nutmeg doesn't go in the forest, but sticks to the field where her mice friends live.fisher sept. 17 from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

Hello,
Great trailcam captures. I love the bears.
The Fisher is a new critter for me, I have never seen one.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Wonderful bear photos...just big black furry things that they are! But I'm glad they were going away. I've never seen, and barely know a fisher exists.
I have never seen a fisher but can imagine they are fierce.
I had never heard of fishers until I moved here.

Mum bear and cubs appear to be doing well... and I loved the eye-eye-coyote! YAM xx
I have two foxes, four turkeys, two raccoons and an unknown number of bunny rabbits wandering by mine. The young fox usually pops up when he hears the dog and I coming up the trail. He's looking for me to replenish the compost pit. Haven't seen the fisher or any of the big critters for awhile. I moved one of the cameras out to the road. The guy across the road says there are tracks in the sand, but I'm not catching anything. Various neighbors have seen Mom and her twin cubs but I haven't had the pleasure yet.
Thank you for sharing the wonder.
Animals have their rounds and their routines.
You live in an exciting place!
