Saturday's Critters

We are still in recovery mode, here at Crumbly Acres. We had as much snow over the last 24 hours as we did the previous 24. Our hydro flickered, but stayed on. The trees are falling over with snow. We've lost some big branches off of the tall white pine trees.

Our Satellite TV is off. I imagine it is the snow. We want to watch the soccer game at 10, and I need to do the driveway before then. We could probably watch it online, if we have to. We expect more snow today.

Today is our December Bird Count. This is what the bird feeders looked like Friday morning. I changed them up and cleaned them off.

This is fun! They just come and go! I've since moved this trailcam, but they come and go, the deer. Sometimes quickly.

...we received just a fraction of the snow that you did. Take care and stay warm and well.

Hello, Jenn

Wow, that is a lot of snow. The snow missed us, we had freezing rain for a few hours. I love your deer images, great videos. The critters do love to eat those pumpkins. What a treat! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

You had too much fun with the flashing deer video! Hope you can see the game, I am fortunate to have YouTube TV now and have programmed it to record both today and tomorrow. But it's not reliable, and I sadly miss some favorite programs when I look for them the next day. Which do you think will win today, Croatia or Morocco? And tomorrow, France or Argentina? I don't make bets!

We're having the same problems with this storm. A foot by this morning. Maybe 5 inches more. It's too heavy and wet. I've missed your game cams. I'm not doing bird feeders: we had over 20 geese die of avian flu in town. The state has asked to stop feeding. That's tough!

You have so much snow! I don't envy you at all having to do the cleanup.

While I have no interest in sport I hope you retain power long enough to watch the game. Stay warm, stay safe.

That's a LOT of snow! I know the critters appreciate the pumpkins. Hope you are safe and warm during this winter weather!

We did the Christmas Bird Count today, so I am really glad the storm passed us by. We received barely a dusting of snow. That's a lot of snow you have to move.

I hope you got to see the game. Exciting!

You are way, way ahead of us in winter.

Can you get over the air television. We have satellite tv and during intense rainstorms we use the digital antenna on our television. Better picture than the satellite.

I imagine pumpkin is a different taste for a coyote, but they'd have a go at it.

We got hit in the city.

The second photo is lovely. Interesting videos as always!

it seems that some snow melted, but it still fell faster than it melted, so we have a pretty fair buildup.

Very engaging trail cam views. We had a rain event andit melted all the snow.

I did a trail cam post awhile back. It's always fun to discover what turns up. Happy Holidays from Sharon's Souvenirs!
