As the season turns...

The fishies are doing well. Not too long until I have to bring them in.

Lots of froggies in the pond. They are so funny to watch.
Somehow, a weed is growing out of the fake water lily. A frog likes his own private pad!
The shiners seem to have bred with the goldfish, again.

I spotted TWO monarchs at the flowers.  No photo. You have to imagine it.
I have lots of pumpkin blossoms, but no more time for them to mature!

I moved the planter, trying to check for bees. The planter, filled with petunias and wild violets, is falling apart. I don't have a photo of the planter, but you can see the bright pink petunias here.

I think we have a colony of bees here. I was trying to see what was up. Having shifted the pot, I found a baby millipede, a worm, and a red eft.

A red eft is a baby salamander.

The cats have taken over the guest room.
I told Cinnamon he had to leave Isabelle's Dotz project alone.

Outside, lots was going on in the forest. As always, I carefully tailor the thumbnail for those who just want the gist of the action.

The bucks have been around. We are headed into rutting season.

JB and I have been going walkies with Cinnamon more often than not.

The doe and fawn were about. JB spotted the doe with the twins in the backyard. It was early in the morning and lovely to see.

Momma Butch still has her three babes.

I love seeing the frogs! I still can't see your videos on my old Safari program. ;-(

We didn't see too many monarchs through the summer but more now on the goldenrod.
How is JB's back these days?
You must be so pleased to be able to see everything clearly once again!

Suddenly your land has gone from swimming days to winter, I read there will be a big snowfall in Colorado on KB's blog, we have a cold morning here. Loved the videos, the tall grass rustling as everyone passes by, and those gumboots, they look like the warm Neoprene ones we can get down here, just a different brand. Keep warm, that firewood will start being used very soon.

Hello,

I love your flowers. The frogs are so cute, you have a nice pond.
Great videos, love the deer. I am not a fan of raccoons. Enjoy your day, wishing you a great new week!

We keep our cat out of the guest room as a favour to any guests or at least a certia who experiences cat allergies. But she likes to poke around in there whenever she finds an opportunity.
