They hung around most of the morning!
We've had 17 eggs hatch, the wood ducks are gone for another year.

Again, at the frog pond...salamander larvae. They are prehistoric-looking! Their gills are on the outside.

Then, the bullfrog tadpoles, who overwinter, are quite large, and pop up for air.

Hooper continues to play with Annabelle. When Daisy goes after Hooper, Annabelle comes to his rescue. It's an interesting dynamic. Daisy is going after Annie much less.
Then there was action at the trailcam while we were away.
The coyote peed on the ground, right in front of the camera.

Hello Jen, I love your header photo. Cool video of the bear. Your kitties are so cute, sweet sighting of the deer. Loved the photos and videos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. I appreciate your visit and comment too. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
You are never bored, for sure!
The cats are such cuties!
Regarding your question about the header image, that's an apartment building on the north side of the park, but I don't know what that outlined section of it signifies.
The coyotes better be careful where they pee after this!
LOVELY new header photo, beautiful. And three cats, Hooper is like our Boris, pounces on old Felicity, she hisses and frowns. Hooper must have had a fast run from somewhere, panting a little then meowing. Love to see them all. Toilet time, no privacy there!!!
Wonderful trailcam shots! Love the deer in velvet.
we have a lot of chipmunks lately and found a tunnel in the garden. Thinking of setting live traps.
Looks like you have the same wildlife that we have! :)
Just love your header photo!
All the best Jan
Wow. I thought my trail cam was getting some good shots, but this is outstanding! Love the video … so much variety. I will have to think about switching my cam over to do some video ….
