1. Daycation Sept. 27/28th Frontenac

It was a lovely day. Another 30 C. one, very hot. (This morning the thermometer is at 2 C.!)
JB thought we could go for lunch at the Waterfront River Pub and Terrace. This is the drive there... From there we went to Picton, in Prince Edward County for another swim and a sleepover. More on those tomorrow!

I love the lakes, farms, homes (large and small), and the scenery. Many homes were decorated for October! The corn is tall. The traffic was crazy. Passed twice in the same few minutes, we WERE doing the speed limit! Sunshine, lakes and sedimentary rock. Not very exciting, but a lovely drive.

The drives should get prettier soon. The changing may be helped by the frost last night.

Daycations should become more scenic soon, perhaps helped by the overnight frost.

Prince Edward County is such a beautiful area! We spent a few days a couple of years ago touring around the wineries and looking at the scenery. -Jenn

Nice outing and fall colours make it better.

The fall colours remain a bit elusive.

And would that be the LAST swim before winter? At 2C, even the bravest would be in an indoor pool with 27C water!!! Love the drive-by pics.

As long as the weather is fine, a change of scenery is a Must. It offers us a lot of pleasure, and keeps us sane.

Olá Jenn!
Realmente a paisagem e as casas são muito belas. A plantação de milho me encantou!
