Monday morning Sept. 25th, I just can't get enough of that tree! Hubby's shirt matched it! The lake is very shallow. It was so good to go in for a swim. Lots of other patrons had left in the morning. We extended the 11 a.m. checkout to noon, relaxed, and had another swim. It's a lovely beach, very shallow, with sand.
This is highly unusual for south eastern Ontario. There will be a big drop, back to normal September temperatures, on Thursday. It will be a bit of a shock, methinks.

looks like fall although it sure does not feel like it!
Yes, beautiful tree, glad you enjoyed your swim, it must be a treat in this heat wave gone all too soon tomorrow.
I didn't know that there was a publicly accessible area up there.
Indeed, the coloUr of the tree leaves is lovely. So is your hubby's shirt. This carrot colour used to be "boycotted" in my part of the world; not any more. It's quite IN.

...had to backtrack as I missed one! Yes you are having a great outing on this one and the weather has been grand for the Invictus Games in Toronto... YAM xx
Beautiful countryside!
The last time I swam in a lake, the North Island's deepest lake at 256 metres deep, it was summertime, and the water was "FREEZING". Looks wonderful where you are, enjoy those warm days and make the most of it all, we are warming up now, as you cool down.
Did you go into the Boat House? I haven't been in there for several years, but they used to sell some very unusual meat items. Kangaroo jerky anyone?
