Westport trip: September 18th

Trips to Westport are always lovely. We had late lunch at The Cove, Monday, Sept. 18th. The view is spectacular. Many local place are keeping their patios open much later in the season than is usual.
The harbour is a lovely spot, with only a few boats. As we ate, a flock of geese came into the bay. Then, there were the seagulls on the wharf. The trees are beginning to turn.

You are right, a very beautiful place. Our here on the coast most of the restaurants have closed their patios. And farther up the coast marinas and restaurants have all been either closed or reduced in hours. I'm sure the gas pump at the Shinglemill marina will have the "Winter Hours" sign up when we get home. - Margy

You are in autumn already, beautiful water views, boats, a gazebo, chairs waiting, so glad the weather is kind and warm.
