Central and southern Ontario, and Quebec, are having a huge problem with flooding. It is bad everywhere. People are putting in sandbags: Renfrew County, Muskoka, Toronto Island, Wolfe Island (Kingston), Belleville, NOTL, Ottawa River homes (Cumberland, Constance Bay), Gatineau (west Quebec).Your river view is costing us all, says @Scott_Gilmore https://t.co/rjN3bx2pYA— Maclean's Magazine (@macleans) May 12, 2017
Peak flood waters close portions of Perth. Be careful out there! #ONFlood#Flood2017

The weather system has been here for days, dumping water everywhere on top of already saturated lands. The rivers are dangerous. Yesterday we had 38.9 mm (1.5") of rain. It's so hard to believe. It just began raining, again!VIDEO: Record water levels at Chaudière Falls. #OttNews #Ottawa #RingDam @ottawacity pic.twitter.com/wOYyzxLAwd— Hydro Ottawa (@hydroottawa) May 7, 2017

Non stop rain here as well (Grey, Bruce area) but when I look at those photos you posted, I guess it could be a whole lot worse. I am craving a sunny day. -Jenn
I had a look at the Rideau River at Billings Bridge yesterday evening. The water's very high- the underpass on the north side is closed, and there are a couple of low lying islands to the west that are submerged.
The situation looks bad, but the pictures displayed are beautiful. Ironic, isn't it?

we had a lot of that and we will get some more - but for this week we are actually getting settled, moderately warm and bright weather. Lapping it up! YAM xx
That rushing water is so close to the homes, hope there isn't serious damage and everyone is safe.
What a disaster. Keep safe.
This can be so scary. I hope the weather calms down for you soon. It's been pretty peaceful in Hawaii for now...
It's raining over in CP this morning. Crazy.
