Then the kids visited, for a sleepover. We had some fun. Annabelle insisted on visiting with JL, who is NOT a cat person! I shooed her away after the photo!
Dress up, circa 1964 |
I am the one wearing the wedding veil!
Josee's freckles make a happy face. Mommy put marker dots so I could see them!
The cats were dreadfully tired. Under the tree a chipmunk was yelling at Daisy who was having a snoozze. Chippie was in the drain spout for the house. Dorah konked out on the deck.
They are bring a deermouse a day in to play with.
We found some tree frogs in the Hops vine. THen grampa moved the chairs, and found two there. The girls loved them!

Fun times - you have such a great place for grandkids to visit and explore!!! Ouchy on that thumb... was it kitchen or garden wound? YAM xx
Thumbs are very useful, hold it high, take some meds, and if it was done to the bone, will be SOOOO sore!! Rest up.
I did it in the kitchen!!!! So silly. Met some lovely staff in the ER, and some crazy people in the waiting room! xo
It happens, and if it happens in Canada, that's better,as you get the optimal treatment. I'm sure your family's support has somehow alleviated the pain. Feel well soon!
Ouch ouch ouch!
I saw your photo of the owls the other day in the Citizen!
oh Jenn, heal quickly! The grandkids must love coming over!
oh no, you take care of your thumb. ouch!! i love the crossed eyed shot, that is too too precious!! ( :
hope you had a good Canada day! i missed you that day so i will wish ya one now. have a great week.
Grand kids can be wild and crazy. Enjoy it! I know you do.
Funny, I slashed a finger the other day as well. My mother-in-law used to shutter when she saw me pick up a knife. My daughter used to keep a daily tally -- cuts and burns while I prepared dinner each evening.
They glue us back together now? Good thing: I think I have been becoming unglued lately.
