1. Yam's Visit to Southeastern Ontario: overview

We've had a lovely visit from our friend, Yam.
She lives in Scotland, but spent 28 years in Australia, then a couple of years in India. Yam was attending the Blogville Awesome Retreat in the US, and has done a North American tour afterwards to visit some of her bloggie friends. We managed to keep her busy! I am so tired!

This is, her 1st, and then her 2nd post from her trip.

She is an amazing woman. Well-read, informed, funny, fun. She and my hubby had amazing conversations about politics, history, and books I have read, but simply do not recall! When she enters your personal space, you feel her energy and her spirit. She LOVES life, people, the water, boats, fresh air. Devoutly spiritual, she filled our lives for a few days. I am the better for her visit! We had so much fun!

I've been trying to figure out how to organize my photos, I've culled them down to 210 images, travelling over 500+ km. Not only that, but we were at 80% of our bandwidth for the month, which ended yesterday, and I thought I'd prune some more photos first! Plus, how do I organize them?!

Tuesday evening

76 km –We picked Yam up at the Ottawa Airport, and brought her home to Perth.

It's great to spend time with someone like Yam. We get energized and think outside the box for a few days.

So glad you had a wonderful visit with our YaYa! I am sure after the heat and humidity of Indiana the cooler weather up north was a welcome relief. OK, having said that I know she loves the heat but really, how much can one human being take BOL?!?! We loved spending time with her and getting to know her too. You describe her perfectly!

Your Pals,

Murphy & Stanley
