Sprucing, crows, dredging

I took everything off the workbench, and used the shopvac to clean it up. Our mice friends have been eating our bird seed here. The previous owners left their shopvac, or sold it to us. People tell us they had garage sales but charged way too much for items.

Yes, A/C, I'm still 'sprucing' the place up!

In fact,  JB did his walkies by the canal in Perth. They were dredging it, sprucing it up, as well.

Crows 🐦

We were reading on the back deck, and we heard the crows begging for food.  They have stayed in our back 40 since fledging (June 26th), then they'd move a little further around the forest. The tree frog chimed in with them. (Not caught on tape!)

The one flew out, just as I put the videocamera down. Then it ended up staying in the back. Part way through, I moved to get a better angle. Two crows

We are getting a new driveway today. More to come on that!

Our mice friends got into the birdseed in the garage -- what a mess! You have been SO productive!

You make me feel so lazy with all of your activity! ;-)

Young crows constantly asking for food can get on your nerves.

Tidying up seems to be a constant activity, even for canals!

Here is short video of a duck I saw this morning in the water feature of an apartment building here in Waikiki:

I have a great fondness for crows. I'll talk to them, and they'll look at me like I'm nuts.
