So nice having coffee on the deck the with kids, while the girls slept in.
It's the end of an era. Farewell to our old bikes. Neither of us can ride them. We put them at the end of the driveway. I put a sign on them: 'For Sale $50 each. That'll ensure that someone steals them, and I'll be rid of them!'
The kids went home Sunday morning, and we chilled while Grampa watched the end of the tennis finals. I gave the girls a snack, as they'd slept in and weren't ready for lunch. Off to town we went.
Hay!
Perth was busy, Sunday afternoon!
This is a fave spot for a bit of exercise, and water play. The Rocky Ramp Project has been a bit of a bust. [Haggart Isl. Dam and Bridge repair on the Tay River] Apparently, the flow has been spotty in the Tay Canal at times. The flow isn't equal over the two ramps.
Sunfish in the river, the girls spotted a turtle, too.
We found a bullfrog! We convinced Jos that we should let it be. She loves reptiles!
I don't know what this tree might be! Someone suggested a Ginkgo Biloba, Maidenbush?!
On the way home, we stopped for videos. Then they had lunch at 2:30, I'd brought snacks as it was a late breakfast.
Sunday afternoon Grampa and I watched soccer, while our delicate flower granddaughters watched Godzilla vs. Kong! 😏

...Perth and the surrounding area looks lovely.
Nice park to visit. Hope the bikes went away.
I like your plan for getting rid of unwanted bikes, ha, ha.
Nice trip with the girls.

Yes, that's Ginko B. How fab for the birds - and fond memories of Stewart park!!! YAM xx
You had a full day! I would say that was a Ginkgo tree.
Now I'm surprised that you've given up the bikes. You quite biking when you're 80. The ebikes have become very popular.
I can't recall the last time I saw a sun dog.
