Inspired by Harry Foster. He and his wife visited us one day. We looked at my trailcams and tromped through the forest!
A little old church in Pontiac Quebec, retired now for quite awhile. How many baptisms, how many weddings, how many funerals, what stories could be told. pic.twitter.com/ddbWE9oShJ— Harry Foster (@harry_fosters) March 4, 2018

It's a beautiful church and so strange to hear it's not used any more. Someone should try to establish their studio in it. What light it must hold.
Love this happy celebration piece!
Beautiful drawing. If that church could talk it would have a lot of stories to tell. Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
He did a lovely photo. I am wondering if I have seen his photos on FB?
Nice drawing. Isn't it a shame to see lovely buildings not used.
what a charming church and illustration of it. I love going into churches and wonder if it's ever open to visitors. Happy PPF!
Pity the place is not active! On the other hand, it's not very surprising, as more and more people practice their faith at home nowadays. Organized religion has its shortcomings.
Happy PPS!
No matter what colour or race, lift your arms and rejoice.
Very lovely! Has so much charm!
A good touch of whimsy to it!
What a lovely photo and I love your arty version too! Happy PPF from Number 41 :D
there are many buildings and you wonder what stories they could tell.
Your little church painting is adorable. What a shame not to use such a lovely old building. Art studio...coffee shop...antique store...of course those are all things I would love to see it be used for, while respecting it's past.
A happy piece of art. So many places are empty these days.
Adorable church. ..I went to one very similar when I was a kid!
Peace Giggles
Your art put a smile on my face. Thanks! :)
