Sat., March 10th's drive 'twas a whim. We went from Narrows Lock (the green pin) to Newboro. We popped into the store there, and carried on.
It's pretty dreary, but that is our reality right now. Happily, my amaryllis blooms!
First, past the winery and the grape vines waiting for the spring.

The wetlands lie dormant.
The rivers are beginning to thaw. So is the roof snow!

I wouldn't ice fish to begin with, but certainly not at this time of year!
