Cats, grooming, tails

It's a bit chilly outdoors. We've gone from 8 C., down to -5 C., last night it was very cold. The trees hold the sun's warmth, we've lost a lot of snow cover.

Daisy's been out and about. She can see the mice, and might go out at 4:00 a.m., if I hear her fussing. She sits on my hip until I awaken. If I ignore her, she'll gently scratch my hand with restrained claws.
Not so last night! Too darn cold!

I've been trying to brush our girls regularly. Of the three grouped piles of fur, can you guess which of the three cats is responsible for which?!

In order: Daisy, Dorah (with JB) and Annabelle. The furriest cat, Annie, has the least fur. Dorah the most!

The turkeys came to visit yesterday, cleaning up the feed. There were four of them.

The cats are terribly bored with being indoors.
Except for Dorah! She is perfectly happy to watch curling with JB!
Daisy didn't like her elf hat. She just froze, which is unlike her!
Annabelle loved the bell collar. The bells got her all excited, thinking she was a cat toy!
Hubby made himself some no-yeast, no-dairy, no-eggs bread. He has a special apron!

Hello, the turkey are cool yard visitors. Your kitties are so pretty. I remember my Goldie Girl shedded so much hair, we put it out for the birds to use in their nest in the spring. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day and weekend!

2 turkeys under the tree, so funny. And cats' fur, we have it down here too. JB, great apron, and well done for cooking up a storm... oops, maybe something a lot better.Jenn, the sun's rays and shaded spots under the trees in your first photo, that is so lovely.

I like the baker's bright red apron. Bill's been doing some cooking lately, but neither of us bake. I think the elf hat is a non-repeater. She does not look like she is having fun in those pictures. ;>).... the bells on the other hand -- that one needs those every day, not just at the Holiday.

Stay warm -- all of you.

We wouldn't mind watching those visitors but we've not seen any turkeys here. Stay warm! All of you.

No danger of cabin fever with all that entertainment! The bronze shimmer on the turkey feathers is gorgeous!

Hi Jenn, wonderful photos of the turkey's. For a year or so my parent's neighbourhood had a turkey living in it. It was a suburban neighbourhood so a turkey wasn't something that usually lived there. Many people fed it but it started chasing cars and people on bicycles so it was tranquillized and taken away. Dorah looks like she enjoys her brushing! Take care.

What a fun post. I did guess which cat's fur was in each photo. Love Eileen's idea of putting the hair out for the birds to use. Your cats are adorable! How wonderful that your hubby bakes vegan (I think) bread with a big smile on his face!!
