Today we anticipate freezing rain. Maybe. Who knows. I shall postdate this, just in case we lose power!!! I remember Ice Storm '98! Jan. 5th, no power for 10 days.
Yesterday we enjoyed the day...
First up, the girls were here. Tigger didn't leave them much bird seed. Hubby went out to refill the feeders! They watched him like eagles. There was a bit of a tiff. Once their ears go back - you know there is trouble.
Can you count them?
One has a bit of an issue with his antler. We can't tell.
I was reminded about an event by a Facebook post. I've been checking their tails, and it looks like Daisy is the observer, but I'm not sure! This is 2013.

That's quite a gathering in the last group deer pic.
What better entertainment than watching your beautiful herd! They know where the hospitality is five star!
Another survivor of the ice storm of 98 checking in! We have filled buckets and kettles and jugs with water and there is gas for the generator (which was still on back order in 98, sheesh).
It probably won't amount to anything, but we are always prepared when we hear that three letter word!
What wonderful nature indoors and out! We got a gas-insert in our fireplace and wow what a difference! My thin Hawaii blood is handling the n. Calif rainy winter very well now. Well, that and my light treatment box for SAD that I use daily. Keep enjoying your wonderful world and your sane prime minister :)
