Grampa tries to outdo himself. From our babysitting week in July, he decanted grape juice into a bottle. Our standing joke was that the girls were having 'wine' for lunch. This time, he found a bottle of Bull's Blood wine. This time he put the grape juice into the wine bottle.
Menu: chickenburgers & sausages, veggie and fruit trays.

We spent some time around the goldfish pond. It was a busy spot...
I now have a resident watersnake, but a gartersnake likes the garden, and it hovered. It stared, in vain, at a frog. One of them shed its skin on the rocks.
The kids took some wee goldfish home for their fishtank. Annabelle guarded them in the bottle where I placed them until take off!
Dorah found the hole where the chipmunk lives. The silly thing.

ooooh, so fun and lot's of time outdoors in nature!!!
Loved that chipmunk with the stuffed cheeks. I'll bet there is a lot of drama between the 'munk and the kitties!
That munk seems very aware of the kitties!
Nice to see your dear face
Wonderful family time, you put so much love and thought into every event or outing. That chipmunk, what a gorgeous wee fellow, and so carefully watched over.

More grand memories made! YAM xx
You girls have way too much fun! And I don't think it's because of the "wine' either! Quite the tattoo artist there!
I wish we had more snakes. I see a garter snake about once every five years.
What fun shots of family! And a sweet chipmunk.
