Teen years Mostly to my waist until high school |
This is a silly post, but I asked hubby, "What colour should I colour my hair this time?"
He said, "Make it funky, like you!"
Talk about carte blanche! So unlike my first husband who, when I'd go for a change, would not comment at all. As if, recognising that I was looking fresh and terrific took something away from him.

Probably my true colours! |
How has your hair changed over the years?!
This was the process!
First, Ashley paints on the lightener, wrapping the individual spots in foils. I sit, the go under the drier for a time, while I read a magazine. Then we wash that out, then she puts on the base colour. I sit, again, nowhere to go, nothing to do. Bach home I go, to hubby who proudly beams as he looks at his, 'much younger wife!'
I'm worth it!

That red really suits you!
I'm sort of silver these days. I do colour it rarely, but go to an eco-hairdresser where she makes colours out of plants.
Well, I shaved it all off for a cancer benefit, decided I liked the look of it, so it's stayed this way.
You look great! I see a lot of people try on the red and it doesn't work for them.. it's wonderful for you. And you still have the fresh-face teen thing happening for you.
I haven't noticed my hair changing at all!!!

NICE! Mine? Long... and salt and pepper. There were three major 'cuttings' - one at school, one for going to Nigeria and one shortly before moving to Australia; all wrong. I keep it long, with trims. &*> YAM xx
Looks great. I'm a natural person. Years ago my girls tried to get me to dye my hair. One day I said at the dinner table that I had finally decided to do it after all their nagging. Of course they wanted to know what colour and I said grey as I'm tired of waiting for it all to change. They never asked me after that :)

Wow Jen, that red really looks great. You have the skin to carry red, lucky you!
It takes years off you girl!
Your red hair looks great. I remain defiantly white-haired in spite of a couple of friend's despair over me!
I think you look great! It does take off years to add color doesn't it? However, I'm afraid I'm too lazy and wouldn't be able to keep it up like my friends are able to.
Still, I do love that salt and pepper look on you too. It's very elegant.
Good for you! I've inherited natural (not yet gray) hair from my mom and dad. Both had only some gray well into their 80's and 90's. So far, so good for me. - Margy
