Blue Jay video

Blue Jay memory from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

I feed the Jays peanuts, to slow them down at the feeder. This give the other birds a bit of a chance, as these bullies dominate them. The Blue Jay took off, then came back. It had missed the first peanut, I threw down another, and off it went. It came back and I threw down a 3rd, fetched it, but remembered where the first peanut was.

They're such beautiful birds, but yes, left to their own devices they'll eat everything.

And blue jays just go away and hide the peanuts. I sometimes wonder how many they find later. I know magpies find the.

That's a lovely video, Blue Jays are a feisty bunch but I do enjoy them.

Thank You, Dear Jenn.

I saw Muskoka chairs at Ottawa Daily Photo today.

Awfully awful about Nathan Cirillo, just devastating! We feel so strongly for all Canadian friends at this time. You are SO loved!
