Cats and goldfish and roof view

The goldfish have been chilly, but these are the hardy 20 or so fishies who refused to come indoors for the winter. I went up on the roof to clean out the eaves, and took a photo from up above.

Sadie, yes, on the table. She was supposed to teach the young ones how to behave, not to pick up their bad habits. Meantime, Daisy is on her favourite winter spot: on top of the fish tank light.

The goldfish who chose to come in, seem to be doing well. Shirley 3 does seem to be a female as the larger orange one seems to be following her about!
It looks terrific from the roof. A fun opportunity to see the back yard in all its Fall splendour.
It would have been much more splendid, if I'd remembered I left the camera up on the roof, putting it down when I went over to the lower portion to clean the eaves trough out.

My faithful Personal Assistant was duly chastised, since equipment and tools are supposed to be his purview. Back up I went, to fetch said camera. <Sigh>

How brave of you to go up on the roof! But you do have a great view of your yard from there. My sister-in-law has fish who refuse to be captured for the winter inside too and it's amazing that many of them survive outdoors!

glad you remembered the camera eventually! poor goldfish get to be stared out by kitties for the winter. :)

Your cats are cute. I guess watching the fish is their equivalent to watching a tv show.

Great views from the top!

I'm sure the kitties are thinking of ways to get into that thing.

We can't keep our cats off the table either. You have such a beautifully landscaped back yard.

The fish look so cute in the tank, if I were a cat I would watch them too. I have a Shubunkin that looks like some of your fish. I'm wondering how your pond can be so open since I had so much trouble with raccoons, and my SIL had otters and blue heron show up at hers, LOL. Your yard looks so neat.
