We live in the township of Drummond/North Elmsley.
Sweet cottage country.
I went to the StatCan website for more details.
Most are ages 40 - 59.
I loathe the charts journalists create. They often skew data by mixing comparisons, or not having a consistent axis split.
A pie graph shows the split.
Ages 0 - 19 = 25%
Age 20 - 39 = 19%
Age 40 - 59 = 35%
Age 60 - 85+ = 21%
My observations include many over age 60 who are still working. The man who repaired our lawn tractor, for example. Then there are those over age 55 who choose to work, don't work for pay, or work for the rewards, e.g., volunteering.
